In the year 2018, I met a young woman, Sandra Chibuike, from Nigeria, Africa on Facebook.  She had been led by God to send me a message through messenger.  Sandra was very persistent in the need to speak with me on Facetime through Messenger.  So, I finally decided to go ahead and speak with her.  I found out what a beautiful person she was and is, from the inside out.  Her smile is infectious and the love she shows that radiates from God and how close she is to Him is amazing.  She asked if I would be her spiritual Mum and I told her I would pray about it, but most likely yes.  From there on out she definitely has become the daughter, that I couldn’t have.  Now we are definitely connected in more ways than I ever thought could be possible.  I know the love of a daughter and she knows the love of a mother since her real mom had passed and she needed that relationship once again.

Sandra had told me about all the evangelizing she was doing on Facebook and within her community in Owerri, Nigeria, Imo State.  She was assisting in a program that was helping to feed the orphan children within her area and had asked me to help with as little as $50.  The money didn’t seem like enough to feed children, however, she had a few other people who were donating and was able to feed 50+ children a year and give the families a prepackaged meal to take home for later.  So, this is where I had and she had started to give to the Children of Owerri, Nigeria.  She has cooked many meals for children, widows, and poor families who are without food, homes, or any place to rest.

Sandra and I have been speaking now for 5 years, she is a blessing to me as I am to her.  Being that we are over 6,000 miles away from each other, makes this a very special relationship, that has given me a beautiful part of something we were both missing in our lives.  I know that this was something that God wanted, and I have been happy to be this young woman’s Mum since the day she asked me to be.

Sandra moved to Port Harcourt, Nigeria just about a year ago to work with the poor and needy there.  She just finished her year of ministry, having fed many by starting a farm within that area, showing them and preaching to them the word of God in English. Sandra has now returned to her hometown of Owerri and hopes to be able to start a farm there, as well, and feed many more.  Below I have included lots of videos and pictures to show you her ministry from Owerri and Port Harcourt.  Our vision for this ministry and hers is to feed all those who are hungry that we can here, there, and everywhere, not just in feeding them physically, but spiritually, and mentally, as well.

Nigeria has 24 million people who are starving and homeless according to UNICEF and Vanguard News, Nigeria leads in world homelessness and hunger, as of October 4, 2024.  Because of this disease is also on the rise there.  Water sources at times are not healthy or purified, so this can result in many deadly diseases, and without the health care needed, this may cause many to die without care.  When parents die or even when the man dies, it leaves children and widows nowhere to go, so this is where some of the homelessness comes from.  There are not enough who are educated and some who do know how to work and are unable to because of a lack of available work.  This is why it is important to help all those we can. 

Right now, we are looking for donations for food, the farm, bibles, and clothing.  The need every month to run this ministry is around $300, as we are starting small,  to provide what is needed at this time.  By giving $5 a month to this ministry, or whatever God is laying on your hearts, you could help feed thousands.  All we need is prayer and a little bit of money to help feed these kids.  If you would like to donate, please click the donation button below and state in your comments for farm in Africa.
